Crucifixion Evidence

In 1968, a Jewish cemetery was discovered with the remains of a nail going through a heel bone.  The nail was bent over the spiked end to hold the foot in place during a crucifixion. There was remnants of a piece of wood found at the end of the nail.

In 2007, a body buried about 2,000 years ago is believed to have died by crucifixion.  The skeletal remains of his heel show that he was nailed to a cross.

These discovery provides evidence that crucifixions really took back in Roman times during Jesus's life. It also corroborates the story of Jesus's death as written in the gospels.

Jesus claimed to be the truth.  Now we have two discoveries the further confirm the bible as a true and historical document.
