Why Does God Allow Natural Disasters?

First I would ask the person who is asking the question if they believe in God.  Because if there is no God, you can explain any suffering as probability...this is how the world is, how the world works, accidents happens,  its natural order, and so on.

Next I would want to know what's the criteria for calling an natural event a natural disasters.  Because the vast majority of natural events do not get front page news coverage, like a hurricane that never hits land.

Now we need to know if all natural disasters are bad.  The answer is no.  Some natural disasters can have a a very positive impact on an environment like earthquakes.   Earthquakes can release an enormous amount of minerals that are a source of food and nutrition for ocean life and human life relays on some of that ocean life for food.

So what makes a natural disaster bad?  They better not say the lost of human life, if they don't believe in God.  In their worldview, what makes a human life more valuable than the life that benefits from a natural disasters?  They cannot justify their hierarchy of life, it's just their opinion...and opinions are like _______, everyone has one.

Human life is considered intrinsically valuable, even by atheist, because we are Gods greatest creations.  He breathed the breath of life into the man's nostrils, and the man became a living person. (Gen 2:7).

God is good.  Think about it...natural disasters seem to have limitation on earth.  I say that because life is thriving after the many natural disasters that have occurred on earth.  It's a miracle that life exist because it is so delicate.  natural disasters happen because God allows free will.  Free will is a form of love.  God is our father and allows us to explore the world.  Just like it's illegal/crazy for a parent to keep their child locked in a room because they want protect it from a terrible accident.
